Description

Maggie's Farm at The Farm School is a production farm 'classroom' cradling a curriculum-based practical farm training program for an intimate class of adult student farmers each year. Our production farm grows certified organic vegetables for a 150-member CSA and a Boston-area farmer's market, and raises grass-fed, organic livestock for a 50-member meat CSA. The staff members who manage these operations are student mentors, as they engage in coursework and reinforce their learning by growing food throughout their year at The Farm School. Our products are available through our website.

The Farm School is a nonprofit educational farm offering three interconnected, yet distinct programs: a three-day program for school groups and their teachers; a one-room middle school for local 7th and 8th graders; and our year-long farm training program for adults transitioning into agriculture.

Growing quality food for today. Growing dedicated farmers for tomorrow.
