Description

Certified organic poultry ranch. Ducklings for table available in late fall into winter. Limited number of stewing hens available during winter months. Eggs available by pre-arrangement. Pullet replacements available on occasion in late spring and summer months.

This is a small operation with many different situations for poultry and waterfowl. Spring brings mother hens and ducks hatching eggs and bringing the babies outside onto fresh pasture and into sunshine. Families are housed in "gated condo units" which are moved weekly. Ducklings swim in pools under umbrellas and browse on fresh grasses. Chicks are closely guarded by watchful mother hens as they scratch for bugs. Farm tours are welcome by appointment.
